Autism Spectrum Disorder Service (ASD)

The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Service is a Support Service for pupils who have a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder and/ or statement of special educational needs. The service supports pupils (between the ages of 3 years and 19 years), their schools and their families.

Advisory support is available to all schools within the borough and out of borough schools attended by Sutton pupils. Support, advice and training are available to schools, parents and carers of pupils with an ASD. The service also liaises with a wide range of professionals within education and other agencies. The level of support may be dependent on level of need.

Pupils are referred to the service through their school or other agencies, with parental permission.
