In Sutton, Street Services is the umbrella name for street cleaning, graffiti and fly tip removal, road drain cleaning and weeding, which are all operated by the Waste Management Section.

There are other Street Scene services such as verge cutting, tree pruning and highways repairs, which, whilst not considered a Waste Management responsibility are important issues that need addressing to keep our roads neat and tidy. The Council is working towards better co-ordinated services and more cooperation between Council departments to provide not only more efficient and cost effective services but also to assist residents in responding to requests.
