Parents of children aged below 5 years attending the following schools can apply for a Parents’ Parking Permit (if they live more than three quarters of a mile from the school): Sutton High School for Girls Reception; Manor Park School Nursery; Thomas Wall Nursery School; Robin Hood Infant School; Teddies Nursery and Homefield School Nursery.

The scheme was introduced to help parents of very young children to park near to the nursery school when dropping off and picking up their children.

The permit costs £25 and is valid for one school year, or until the end of the month of the child’s fifth birthday, whichever is sooner. The applicant needs to provide proof of residence and vehicle registration to the given address. The permit must be clearly displayed and allows the holder to park in a permit holder bay in the zone of the school’s location. It is valid for 30 minutes at the beginning and end of the school session attended by the child (these times are marked on the permit). The permit must be surrendered if the holder changes address or vehicle.

Application forms should be returned to the school in the first instance.
