Parking Bays in Sutton Town Centre
Pay-and-display bays are identified by a plate positioned next to the parking place. They are marked in individual car lengths by broken white lines. Signs will indicate the nearest pay-and-display machine. Even if the nearest machine is not working you must obtain a ticket and display it. The location of the next machine is shown on the front of each machine.
Residents’ permit holders and visitors using visitors’ parking permit vouchers can park in permit holder bays. These bays are also identified by a plate positioned next to the parking place and are marked on three sides by broken white lines. They vary in length and can be for one or several cars.
The permit holder and pay-and-display bays do not apply on Sundays and are not enforced on Bank Holidays. However, yellow line restrictions are valid on Bank Holidays. Do not park on yellow lines on Bank Holidays or you may receive a penalty.
