Parking Penalties
If you have received a parking penalty (parking ticket) DO NOT IGNORE IT. There is a discount of 50% for prompt payment (within 14 days), after this period the full amount is payable. If you wish to appeal against a penalty, you must write in to Parking Services and the Enforcement Team will look into your case.
From 1st July 2007 Differential Parking charges will be introduced, the new Penalty charges Notices will be £60 or £100 depending on the contravention. 50% discount will still apply for prompt payment (within 14 days).
You can pay penalties online, on the telephone (020 8770 5342) or in person at the Cash Hall in the Civc Offices, Mon/Tue/Thurs & Fri 9am to 1pm - Weds 9.30am 1pm.
Revenue raised from parking penalties is put back into road safety schemes and transport improvements for the Borough.
