Renewing items
All items except DVDs and videos can be renewed three times over the telephone, unless they are reserved.
Telephone 020 8409 7066 for the 24 hour automated renewal service, or renew your items by telephoning your local library or via the Internet from the library catalogue.
Fines
Fines are charged on all overdue items borrowed on adult, teenage and children's (aged 5-14) tickets.
Finding what you need
Professional librarians and well trained library assistants are always happy to assist with enquiries. In addition, computerised catalogues listing the latest information on book stock are available in all libraries in the borough.
Reservations
If the item you require is not immediately available, you may reserve it for a nominal fee. We will then inform you when it is available. Items may be requested even if they are not currently held in the borough's book stock. See Library Charter.
