Educational activities form the major part of the role of the Centre. If you are interested in environmental education or enjoy working with/supervising children, your help will be especially appreciated during the period between April and September when we find ourselves very busy with school groups and then holiday activities - great fun, but very hectic! In recent years we have taught 60-75 classes a year, and offered 500 - 600 places on holiday activities. Training is given

 

You don't need any experience, but we are required to see references and have a  police check carried out. We have a Working with Children Policy, which we all adhere too.
