Sutton’s Workplace Travel Plan – encouraging staff to think about the way they travel
The travel plan is a 5 year strategy which co-ordinates different policies and practices that affect staff travel and recommends key actions the Council should consider to encourage the use of sustainable transport.
The action plan encourages the council to improve travel choice for staff by considering installing better facilities, promoting and implementing incentives, while also considering car parking charges, reduced parking provision and the review of essential and casual car users with the view to a fairer system.
We need your help to reduce driver alone car journeys. Just remember, a lot of small changes equal a big difference!
