What is the SUN Project?
SUN is the project acronym for an EU LIFE funded project entitled: Sustainable Urban Planning Networks for Green Spaces.
The project aims to increase community involvement in urban biodiversity, through innovative means of consultation and project delivery.
SUN will build on existing good practice to develop and test a series of innovative approaches to improving stakeholder involvement in urban green space planning and development. The processes developed will include stakeholder identification, urban planning for biodiversity strategy development, stakeholder awareness raising, Stakeholder Biodiversity Action Plan (BAP) forum, stakeholder involvement in BAP implementation projects and approaches to BAP reporting.
