Have your say on what is happening in the area you live in

Sutton Council is changing the way it engages with local residents to give them a stronger voice in local decision-making. Six new local committees have been set up focusing on the areas where people live. For the first time these committees will also have the power to decide how £2m of council money should be spent on specific projects in each area. I want my views to be heard

This money is to be spent on developing town, district and local centres including parks and playgrounds, to meet the needs of the community and make them more attractive places to work, shop and live. By being actively involved in their local committees residents, groups and local business people will help shape their local areas.

Interest groups asked to advise decision making committees

Sutton Council is asking associations representing tenants, residents or parks to play a key role and help interested parties shape the Sutton they want.
