Where are we?

This committee covers the borough's three north western wards of Cheam North, Worcester Park and Stonecot, which border with Merton to the north, Kingston to the west and Surrey to the south.  You can view the map (below) showing the Local Committee boundaries and the three wards.  The Local Committee meetings are mainly held at St Bede's Conference Centre (St Anthony's Hospital).

Who are we?

This Local Committee panel consists of the Chair (Councillor Adrian Davey), the Vice-Chair (Councillor Stephen Fenwick) and seven other local ward councillors.  

  The Local Committee has four non-voting community representatives:

  • Sally Bignall - The Acorn Project
  • Arthur Hookway- Worcester Park Residents Association
  • John Weir - Friends of Cuddington Park
  • Ken Haagman- Friends of Sutton Common Park
  • Alan Plant- Churchill, Abbott's and Priory Residents Association

When do we meet?

Future meetings are to be held on: 16 September 2010, 11 November 2010, 20 January 2011, 17 March 2011 and 19 May 2011. 

All meetings start at 7pm and aim to finish no later than 10.00pm. 

You do not have to attend the whole meeting, and, if a particular item is of interest to you, please feel free to drop in at that time to hear what is said.  We publish all agendas and minutes of previous meetings so you can find out what has been discussed and what is on the agenda at the next meeting.
