Maps
Welcome to the Maps Page.
A brief introduction
The maps available on our Find It page are known as a Geographic Information System or G.I.S. (which is simply an electronic system which stores and displays information on maps).
In the case of Sutton Council, the application of GIS is fairly diverse and ranges from displaying census statistics through to graffiti incidents and flood plain areas to name just a few.
Our Vision & Goals
- To ensure that all council staff and members of the public can view information on local maps
- To share Information by displaying it on local maps
- To continuously improve the service we provide to meet the changing needs of both staff and public
