Westcroft Leisure Centre is providing FREE SWIMMING for residents aged 60 & Over
FREE SWIMMING is available between 8am & 4pm Monday to Friday during all public swim sessions. Please see current pool timetable for details at: www.gll.org/lg/sutton.pdf

To obtain your free swim simply visit the swimming pool and show your FREEDOM CARD or any other proof of age (60 & Over) and of residency and you will be issued with a free membership card. For further details call Westcroft Leisure Centre on 0208 770 4800

Health and Fitness Facilities

You will not fail to be inspired by the excellent Freedom Fitness Centre, the varied exercise class programme, Active Life Scheme and the help and advice you will receive from our friendly team of instructors.

The facilities can be used on a casual basis for those who are not able to attend regularly. But if you really want to get in shape it is advisable to exercise for 30 minutes, three times(3x30) a week . To help you achieve this recommendation affordable membership options are available offering the best value for money in the borough and various options suitable to meet different needs.

Our Wellness Membership provides unlimited access to facilities at all four of GLL's Leisure Centres including unlimited use of the fitness centres, exercise classes, swimming, health suite, squash and activities at other centres such as other Freedom Fitness Centres and athletics facilities. Alternatively, you can pay as you go and after an induction pay each time you use the facilities.

The friendly fitness staff will design an individual programme according to your fitness level and the equipment or activities that you enjoy the most.

The Evergreens (50+ group)
The Evergreens are a voluntary group who organise lots of great activities for people aged 50+. Activities include swimming, badminton, short mat bowls, exercise and dance classes, water work out and the gym.
The main Evergreens Club is based at Westcroft Leisure Centre, but they also run activities at Cheam and Sutton Arena Leisure Centre and the Phoenix Centre. Westcroft Leisure Centre Evergreens Club session run on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 8am – 1pm.

New members are very welcome – so if you're 50+, join the Evergreens, make new friends and enjoy a wide range of activities.
