School admission appeals

Parents who are not offered a school place for their child at a school they prefer, have the right, under Section 94 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998, to appeal against this decision to an independent body called an Appeal Panel.

Junior Admissions

Any parent who wishes their child to transfer to a Junior school in September 2011 must complete an application form and return it to their Home Local Authority by Saturday 15 January 2011. An application must be completed even if a child is at an attached Infants' school.
