The Strategic Planning service is responsible for preparing the Council's planning policies and proposals to guide the future development of the Borough.

Local Land Charges

The Local Land Charges Service processes all local authority searches for property transactions within the borough. We work with solicitors, Personal Search agents, and some members of the public who do their own conveyancing.

Guide to Accessing Planning Applications via the Website

Guides to access the On-Line Planning Register where you can investigate current, decided and appeals on registered Planning Applications and view documents and plans. For planning applications prior to 1st December 2005 plans are not available on-line.

Online Planning Register

The On-Line Planning Register enables you to investigate current, decided and Appeals on registered Planning Applications by entry of the 5 figured Planning Application Number or the 1st Line of the Site Address. You can also make comments on-line on current Planning Applications. You can also view plans, drawings and information on most Planning Applications. The information on the On-line system is updated daily. You can access a Guide to Accessing Planning Applications via the website
