Please note: you can recycle older editions of shop catalogs or telephone directories in your green wheeled bins, the bulk recycling bins provided for flats or in any of Sutton Council's Neighbourhood Recycling Banks.

Green Wheeled Bin Collection

The Council provides each house in the borough with a free green wheeled bin, which is collected fortnightly. Composting

Home made garden compost can be used as a soil improver, an organic fertiliser, a mulch or as a top dressing. It is a really easy way of turning vegetable waste into a valuable resource. Composters can be purchased at local garden centres or you can make your own.

Household waste - clinical waste

The Council provides a clinical waste collection and disposal service for residents who have medical conditions which generate waste that must be incinerated under controlled conditions.

Garden Waste

Garden waste collections restarted on Monday 5 April and will run until Friday 17 December 2010. Each household can put out two Council authorised 120 litre reusable sacks or three 70 litre jute sacks for free (additional single use 70 litre biodegradable sacks can be purchased for £1 per sack).

Large/ Bulky Household Waste

Recycling - Kimpton Park Way

The Re-use and Recycling Centre, Kimpton Park Way, Sutton SM3 9QH (off Oldfields Road, A217). Information on the Reuse and Recycling Centre at Kimpton Park Way including location details and what you can take there to be recycled. Sutton Council recycles 75% of the waste delivered to this Centre. Please help us to recycle even more.
