Practical help to find work for people with disabilities and carers.

What help is there to find a job?

The word icon Employment Working Groups Directory 2010 [522kb] [Note: opens into a new window] lists some of the agencies providing training and employment services for people with disabilities and carers in the borough.

This information is frequently updated to help employers, people with disabilities and carers who wish to work.Man with disability serving food

Routes in to Work

As well as producing the Employment Directory each year the Employment Working Group runs 'Routes into Work'.

The 'Routes into Work' open day provides an opportunity for disabled people and carers to drop in, meet agencies and find out about training and employment opportunities in Sutton. Employers with job vacancies also attend.

The next open day is on Tuesday, 23 March 2010 between 10.00 am and 4.30 pm in the Europa Gallery, Sutton Library, St Nicholas Way, Sutton.
