Renew your Library Books

Renewing your books can be done in a number of ways

All items except DVDs and videos may be renewed three times, unless they are reserved, or you have reached your fines/charges limit.

Via the Internet:

Using the Library Web Catalogue (iBistro).
You will require your Library User ID from your library card, and your PIN to log in.

Over the telephone:

Calling 020 8409 7066 for the 24 hour automated renewal service.
You will require your Library User ID from your library card.

Whilst visiting a Library:

You may:

  • use one of our public PCs or Catalogue + kiosks
  • use one of our Self-Service machines, where available, to renew some of your items
  • ask at the Customer Services Desk and one of our staff will renew them for you
