The Secombe Theatre is the main performance venue within the London Borough of Sutton and in future will be the flagship for the unique opportunities being created for Borough residents, businesses and community groups to enjoy performances, community activities and business events.

The venue boasts a 400 seat auditorium and a large function room which is ideal for wedding receptions, parties and christenings. There is also a substantial foyer area for exhibitions and displays and bar and catering facilities.

Projects can be tailor-made to suit individual requirements and as well as providing a performance, conference and training space the venue can meet the business communities increasing requirements by providing ideal environments for training in presentation style, public speaking, message deliverance, role play and performance seminars under the direction of the highly skilled professional teaching staff.

Charles Cryer Studio Theatre

The Charles Cryer is a fully equipped studio space which can provide a more intimate area for performance as well as discussion forums and group training. The venue has the capacity to seat up to 110 people and has full lighting and sound equipment. It is the heart of many local community groups and the friendly atmosphere offers a wide variety of styles of performance including drama, dance, musicals and comedy. The venue is also the base for the Community Arts Projects that are undertaken and the Borough’s Performing Arts Education Programme.
