Ordnance Survey Case Study
In 2002 the London Borough of Sutton maintained 47 special educational needs vehicles. Each morning these vehicles, ranging from minibuses with full wheelchair access ramps to taxis, would collect children with special educational needs and transport them to one of nine schools across the borough. Through the use of GIS, the number of vehicles and journeys were significantly reduced.

Children's Centre Development Study
