The Early Help team holds a panel meeting every two weeks to discuss more complex family cases. The purpose is to discuss the situations these families are facing in more detail with a wider group of professionals to try and find a solution. This allows a more creative approach to working with families with a wider pool of resources to draw from. Cases are brought to the panel by a professional working with them who may be concerned about particular issues. Cases are only discussed with the consent of the families and they are fully informed of the outcomes afterwards including any actions taken.
