The traffic management order (TMO) consultation for Geographical Area 2 closed on January 4, 2021.
The TMO proposals included:
Permit Parking Areas
Wallace Crescent Area Permit Parking Area (CA1) – operating between 8am-6.30pm, Monday to Friday, in the following locations:
- Beynon Road (Nos.4-3)
- Carshalton Park Road Nos.1a-35 (odd) & Nos.2-36, 66 & 68 (even)
- Doral Way
- Pound Street
- Rayner Close
- Wallace Crescent
- Wilmot Roads
Talbot Road Area Permit Parking Area (CA2) – operating between 9am-11am and 4pm-6pm, Monday to Friday, in the following locations:
- Brookside
- Carshalton Place
- Cator Road
- High Street (Carshalton) – Nos.6-84 (even)
- Ruskin Road – Nos.9, 41 & 43 only
- Seymour Road
- Talbot Road – Nos.2-20 (even) & Nos.1-25 (odd)
- The Square
Carshalton Beeches Area Permit Parking Area (CB) – operating between 8am-6.30pm, Monday to Friday, in the following locations:
- Blakehall Road – Nos.1 & 2 only
- Carshalton Park Road – Nos.123-169 (odd) & Nos.120-156 (even)
- Glebe Road
- Grosvenor Road – No.111 only
- Gordon Road
- Park Hill – No.98 only
Heath Drive Area Permit Parking Area (BH2) – operating between 8am-6.30pm, everyday, in the following locations:
- Heath Drive
- The Causeway
- The Linkway
- The Highway
Peaches Close Area Permit Parking Area (CH) – operating 8am-6.30pm, Monday to Friday, in the following locations:
- Old Barn Close
- Peaches Close
- Sandy Lane – No.4 only
Ward proposals
Additional restrictions proposed across Belmont, Carshalton Central, Carshalton South and Clockhouse and Cheam. The restrictions include:
- disabled bays
- time limited free bays
- loading bay
- loading restrictions
- single and double yellow line waiting.
Controlled parking zone
Additional changes are proposed for the existing Cheam CPZ, including:
- limited waiting parking bays
- loading bay
- double yellow line waiting and loading restrictions
- single yellow line waiting restrictions
- free parking places.
