Next year we’re investing £2.8million in our parks and open spaces, so that everyone in Sutton can enjoy time outdoors and celebrate being in London’s greenest borough.
Our beautiful parks and open spaces are places to come together, play, stay healthy and spend time in nature. Ninety percent of Sutton residents say they use or benefit from our parks and open spaces, with almost half (44%) saying they visit at least once a week.
Volunteer Centre Sutton’s Befriending Walks are just one of the amazing things that happen in our parks. They’re sociable walking groups set up by Sutton Befrienders, with support from our Public Health Team, helping people get active, have fun and enjoy the benefits of walking in a safe and friendly environment.
