Sutton climate and ecological emergency

On the 22nd July 2019 Sutton Council declared a climate and ecological emergency. The Council is now developing a plan for achieving carbon neutrality.

Sutton will be working closely with other London boroughs to support implementation of the action plan. London Councils’ Transport and Environment Committee (TEC) and the London Environment Directors’ Network (LEDNet) have issued a joint statement on this collaborative approach. Read their statement here
