Disabled Persons Freedom Pass
The Freedom Pass gives free travel on most public transport in London at any time.
Your pass will look similar to this with your picture on it:
You can only apply from the London Borough of Sutton at Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton SM1 1EA.
If your application is approved a letter will be sent to you asking you to attend Civic Offices to provide a photograph which will allow your pass to be produced. You must attend in person.

Freedom Passes are issued in line with the central principle of the DDA definition. The types of disability that enable people to claim the statutory minimum are those which are permanent, or which have lasted at least 12 months and have a substantial effect on a person's ability to carry out normal day to day activities.

What to do if your Freedom Pass is lost, stolen, faulty or damaged
From 1 November 2012 a £10 administration fee will be charged by London Councils to replace lost or faulty Freedom Passes.
To replace your Freedom Pass please contact the Freedom Pass customer helpline on 0845 275 7054.
Methods of payment are by debit/credit card, cheque or postal order. If you cannot pay by these methods please call Sutton Council on 020 8770 6080.
