Sutton Youth Parliament
Run by young people for young people, Sutton Youth Parliament provides opportunities for 11 - 18 year olds to use their voice in creative ways to bring about social change. It also provides them with the opportunity to be involved in local and national youth issues and decision-making that effects young people.
MYPs (Member's of Youth Parliament) are elected in annual Youth Elections within the Borough. Any young person aged 11 to 18 can stand or vote.
Sutton's Members of Youth Parliament for 2012 are:
Anna Clark from Cheam High and Anna Mullaney from Nonsuch - who will represent Sutton at the UK Youth Parliament. To contact Youth Parliament email firstname.lastname@example.org or find us on Facebook
Once elected, MYPs organise events and projects, run campaigns and influence decision makers on the issues which matter most to young people.
