The Scrutiny Committee is formally established to undertake the council's statutory scrutiny responsibilities in respect of
- Crime and Disorder
- Flood Risk Management.
The Scrutiny Committee is responsible for investigating , taking evidence and consulting upon issues within its remit.
The Committee meets 4 times a year Scrutiny Committee Meetings

- 22 October 2014
- 14 January 2015
- 22 April 2015
In its 2013/14 cycle the Scrutiny Committee undertook a range of work including conducting two investigations. The investigation reports are available:

You can use the scrutiny email address to raise issues which you would like the committee to consider for their workplan or to register questions for consideration at the public question and answer sessions which form an irregular part of the committee's agenda.
The Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee South West London is established by the London Boroughs of, Croydon, Merton, Richmond upon Thames, Sutton, Wandsworth and the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames to undertake scrutiny activity in response to reconfiguration proposals or strategic issues affecting some or all of these boroughs.
