Q.  What information is available?

A.  All the information needed to complete the CON29(R) and (O) enquiry forms.

Q.  How do I access information and where is it available from?

A.  By visiting the Local Land Charges Section who are acting as a one stop shop for the CON29(R) and by submitting a written request for replies to the CON29(O).

Access

Q.  Can I access actual files and documents or is the information provided in another format?

A.  All statutory registers and public document can be accessed in their standard format. Non statutory register information is available by way of a printed report or free inspection.

Q. Can I purchase information on a question by question basis or is it only available in larger data sets?

A.  On a whole data set basis - we have identified the questions where the information is not held on a public/statutory register.

Access Arrangements

Q.  Is the information only available during set times and is an appointment procedure in place?

A.  The Council operates the following appointment system:

Inspections are available Monday to Friday 9.00am - 12.00 noon and 2.00 - 4.00 pm. You must book no later than 3.00 pm the day before you wish to make your inspection. We do not restrict the number of inspections that can be made but we reserve the right to restrict the number of appointments is demand increases. We do not have specific appointment times but if you wish to make an inspection in the morning you must book no later than 12 midday the day before collection. Any appointments booked between 12 midday and 3.00 pm the day before will only be available for inspection after 2.00 pm. 

By operating this appointment system (which has been in place since June 2008) we are able to dedicate the relevant staff and resources to ensure your enquiry is dealt with speedily and efficiently.

Costs

Q.  How much does the information cost?

A.  The information is free to inspect but if you require a print out the cost will be £24 for all of the information required to answer the following questions on the CON29(R) - 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9m, 3.11 and 3.12. All other information is available free on public/statutory registers.
