Centre opening hours:
Monday to Saturday: 9.00am-5.00pm (Residents only)
Sunday: 9.00am-2.00pm (Residents only)
Bank Holidays: 9.00am-5.00pm (Closed on Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year's Day)
The Centre is open for residents to dispose of their unwanted household waste and recyclables.
Users of the site may be asked to prove that they are borough residents and should be ready to show personal identification. This can include a utility bill, driving licence etc. or anything that is current and has your name and address written on it.
Some of the items we recycle at Kimpton Park Way:
The Centre has recycling facilities for aluminium foil, beverage cartons, batteries (household and car) bicycles, cans, cardboard, computers, cookers, electricals (large and small), engine oil, garden waste, glass, hessian backed carpet, hi-fi equipment, mobile phones, plastics (rigid plastics such as toys), paper, plastic bottles, rubble (small amounts) shoes, scrap metals, spectacles, televisions, textiles, toner cartridges, washing machines, wood etc.
We now recycle some additional materials at the Centre. These include rigid plastics such as children's toys and washing up bowls; hessian backed carpet, all electricals, printer toner cartridges and bicycles can also be recycled at the Centre.
Vehicles arriving at the Centre should be packed with recycling in mind so that the materials can be separated easily. Stewards are on hand to assist and advise residents. Please ask if you need help.
Fridges and freezers: These can be delivered to the Recycling Centre free of charge. Please remember to take a utility and a Council Tax bill.
Garden Waste: Garden waste delivered to the site is composted at Beddington.
Free Soil Improver: Soil improver produced from the collected garden waste is made available to residents free of charge at the Reuse & Recycling Centre. Residents must provide their own sacks and can take up to four sacks of soil improver on each occasion. To check on availability of soil improver please call Customer Services.
Any other items that might be useful for craft work activities can be donated to Squirrels, another local charity that provides various materials for all kinds of community groups to use. Ribbons, dress fabrics, buttons, corks, coloured paper etc. Please contact Squirrels on 020 8641 1881 if you think that you might have something they can offer to others.
Asbestos is not taken at this site. Residents should contact the Council's specialist collection service on 0207 332 3433 or email@example.com for service details.

There is no Trade Waste facility at this site. Traders wishing to dispose of waste should take it to one of the following destinations:Sita UK Benedict Wharf, off Church Road, Mitcham Tel: 020 8648 2288 or Viridor in Beddington Lane on 020 8684 4100.
Private/large capacity vehicles: The use of private vans, other large capacity vehicles and trailers is discretional. These must be weighed in at the weighbridge and residents must show current Council Tax documentation and another form of identification before being admitted to the site. Each van, large capacity vehicle or trailer is allowed to deliver up to 500 Kg each Council Tax year per vehicle registration. The 500 Kg may be delivered at one time or across the year.
No vans, large capacity vehicles or trailers are admitted to the site after 4.00 pm weekdays and after 12.30 pm on Saturdays. Vans, large capacity vehicles and trailers are not admitted on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
