National Graduate Programme

The graduate programme with Sutton

The National Graduate Development Programme (NGDP) is a two year graduate management scheme run by the Local Government Association (LGA).

New applicants

If you're thinking of applying to join the National Graduate Programme with Sutton, you can apply through the Local Government Association (LGA) who are currently recruiting for Autumn 2019's intake (closing date Thursday 3rd January 2019).

To apply, you will need to have a 2.2 undergraduate degree by summer 2019 and be required to provide documentary evidence of your entitlement to work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006). We are unable to apply to sponsor a visa for candidates from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who do not have the right to work in the UK.

Final stage applicants

If you reach the final stage of your application with the Local Government Association (LGA) you can apply to take up your placement with us. We're looking for two more graduates to join our Graduate Development Programme for September 2019.
