Careers advice

The statutory duty to provide careers advice lies with schools and colleges. On a larger scale, the National Careers Service gives impartial, expert advice so you can make your own career and learning choices. They can help you:

  • develop and improve your CV
  • search and apply for jobs, courses and training schemes
  • find funding to pay for learning
  • identify your key strengths and skills
  • look at your career options
  • find a training route that fits your lifestyle
  • develop an action plan to help you achieve your goals
