Child and Family Support / Team Around the Child Meetings

Child and Family Support Meetings, also known as Team Around the Child Meetings, provide a structure for agencies to come together to address the needs of children and young people. They are held as part of the Multi-Agency Early Help Assessment Tool (EHAT) process.

These meetings are available to children and young people at Stage 2 of the London Continuum of Need.

The meeting provides a tool for workers across agencies to come together to pool information, expertise and problem solving skills around children and young people. The emphasis is on the early identification of children and young people at risk of developing higher levels of needs and not achieving one or more of the positive outcomes.

The success of these meetings relies on agencies having a genuine desire to work together and openly with families.
