Energising the Sustainable Economy in Cities summit (#ESEIC) was held at the Sutton Holiday Inn on Tuesday 18 October. There were presentations by representatives from Vienna, Copenhagen, Ljubljana, Gothenberg, Almada and Brussels.

The Energising the Sustainable Economy in Cities summit was hosted by Sutton Council and the Covenant of Mayors Office. Representatives from pioneering cities, organisations and businesses shared strategies and case studies to help cities take a best-practice approach to delivering innovative sustainability policies.

The summit brought together pioneering cities, organisations and businesses to share experiences, strategies and case-studies to ensure that we are all taking a best-practice approach to delivering innovative sustainability actions. Through the summit we aimed to:

  2. Highlight best practice and innovative approaches to financing and delivering sustainable energy investment in cities
  3. Collectively explore key opportunities for sustainable economy growth across the circular economy and clean-tech sectors
