Helping the homeless

If you are worried about a rough sleeper in the extreme weather, then here is how you can help:

• Be extra vigilant in looking out for homeless people during cold weather.
• Report anyone sleeping rough in freezing conditions to the council (on 020 8770 5000), or contact StreetLink or Sutton Community Works.
• Call 999 in the event of an emergency.
• Donate or volunteer with a homeless charity.
