Become an Eco-School
Over 80% of Sutton schools are registered with Eco-Schools, but if you are one of the few not yet signed up, it's very simple. Visit Eco-Schools to get started. Schools need to establish an Eco-Committee - a dedicated group of enthusiastic pupils to help drive the campaign. It is expected that by your silver award, the pupils will be begin to run the committee themselves.
We ask that schools carry out an audit of your schools, an environmental review which covers all nine topics and help identify potential activities. This then feeds into your action plan where you set your own targets and deadlines. It is the school that decides what you want to do and what your priorities are.
