South London Circular Economy Programme

The South London Circular Economy Programme is led by the London Borough of Sutton, with partners from the South London Waste Partnership in Merton, Kingston and Croydon.

Circular Economy involves working together to make the most of resources, to re-use, recycle and re-purpose materials, and develop new jobs and skills. Resources include materials, services, energy and people.

We recognise the contribution we can make to enable London to become one the world’s first Circular Cities. We are looking to work with people and organisations in South London to find opportunities to support the South London Circular Economy.

By supporting development of the circular economy we aim to help create new jobs, gain competitive advantages, build resilience, improve resource efficiency and contribute towards environmental targets such as CO2 emission reduction, and waste reduction.

We are hosting an event for businesses to identify circular economy opportunities that organisations can take forward to develop into commercially successful projects.
