Yellow 'sharps' bin collection

There will be no Sharps Bin collections on Friday, 10 April 2020 (Good Friday) and Friday, 08 May 2020 (VE Day).

Bookings for Friday slots will be available from Tuesday 07 April 2020 for the next collection date which will be 17 April 2020.

  • For collection of needles and syringes, please ensure that the bin lid is clicked shut and that the container is placed outside your property, in view, the night before the collection date. Once the bin lid is closed it cannot be opened and therefore is perfectly safe to leave outside.

This service is only for use by residents for collection from their own homes. For nursing homes or commercial premises please contact Veolia directly.
