We are pleased to announce that Fellowes Road is now complete and tenants have moved in.
The development was officially opened on 31 October 2018 by the Mayor of Sutton, Cllr Steve Cook, with the Lead Member for Housing, Cllr Jayne McCoy, handing over the ceremonial keys to the first tenants. Click here for more information.
These new houses, situated in Carshalton, are close to local bus routes and within walking distance of Carshalton Railway Station. A new road: Denyer Close and a new terrace of houses: Iden Terrace has been created, named after historical local traders from Carshalton.
At the opening ceremony Cllr McCoy, said: “This project is all about providing high quality homes for those families unable to find affordable quality housing in the private sector. I would like to thank our contractors Kind & Co who have been a joy to work with. Using a smaller, locally based contractor has proved to be an excellent decision with much of the labour force being local, and making use of local suppliers.”
This development comprises 15 houses, including two adapted for wheelchair users:
11 x 2 bedroom houses
4 x 3 bedroom houses
15 car parking spaces
