Have your say
We have written to local residents who will be directly affected by the work to implement these plans, to tell you more about them and to gather feedback.
All of these changes will be for a six-month trial period. During this time, we will welcome all feedback from residents about how the scheme is working and how it can be improved.
Residents can have their say online using our consultation platform Sutton Citizenspace or in writing once the schemes have launched.
Direct links to each scheme and supporting documents will be published below once they are live.
Letters can be sent to the address below, and should clearly state the name of the scheme you are commenting on. Responses may be made public on the Council's website, however, all personally identifiable information will be removed.
Streetspace, Highways and Transport, London Borough of Sutton, 24 Denmark Road, Carshalton SM5 2JG
The measures will be reviewed by the Council throughout the six-month period and any teething problems corrected. The Council will use surveys, site observation monitoring and consultation responses to evaluate whether the measures should be made permanent, amended or removed.
We know change can take some getting used to and ask that residents allow some time for the scheme to bed in as it can take a while for everyone to adapt to the changes. If a scheme does not prove beneficial to the area, it can be modified or removed before the end of the six-month trial.
