As society opens and the lockdown restrictions are eased it is really important that we all do our part to keep COVID infections low and keep our families and community safe.
Therefore from Monday 12th April regular rapid coronavirus tests are being made available to everyone.
We know that about 1 in 3 people with coronavirus do not have symptoms but can still infect others.
So, getting tested regularly is the only way to know if you have the virus. And If people test positive and self-isolate, it helps stop the virus spreading.
Rapid tests are now available twice a week for anyone without symptoms of coronavirus. Testing is important even if you have had your coronavirus vaccination and the tests give you a result in approximately 30 - 40 minutes.
Getting our COVID vaccine, sticking to the Hands, Face and Space advice and now Regular Rapid Testing give us the best chance to beat COVID and get back to normal.
