Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission Re-visit
Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be re-visiting Sutton on Monday 2 March to Wednesday 4 March to review the progress we have made since the previous inspection in 2018 in relation to services for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The re-visit will include meetings with senior leaders from health, education and social care as well as health and education provider visits.
During the re-visit, Ofsted and the CQC inspectors will be keen to speak to as many children and young people and their parents and carers as possible, specifically about the weaknesses identified in the Written Statement of Action (WSOA).
Here's how you can share your views:
Online Survey - deadline 12noon, Friday 28 February 2020
Ofsted have published an online survey for parents and carers of children and young people who have additional needs/SEN support or with an Education Health and Care (EHC) Plan. To take part in the Ofsted online survey, visit: https://www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/SuttonRe-VisitLASEND/
Open Meeting - Monday 2 March, 12noon - 1.15PM at the Salvation Army, 45 Benhill Ave, Sutton, SM1 4DD.
This session is aimed at all parents and carers who have children and young people who have additional needs/SEN support in school or with an EHC Plan. We hope that as many parents and carers as possible are able to attend the session.
