Local Committees

Local Committees are local meetings of local ward councillors and community representatives - why not get involved?

Local Committees are local meetings of ward councillors and community representatives which are open to the public.

The meetings follow agendas which include items of local interest and decisions that the Council is taking locally.

There are six Local Committees in Sutton and each meets up to four times a year in the evening at a local venue. Anyone who lives, works or studies in the borough is very welcome to attend.

The Committees can also allocate funding to projects which improve the local areas and award Neighbourhood Grants of up to £1000 to local groups.
