Statement Sutton Local Committee - June 2019

Chair of the Sutton Local Committee Councillor Ali Mirhashem said:

“The Sutton Local Committee on Thursday 6 June will be open to the public to attend. On the agenda we will be discussing the parking strategy proposals for a number of streets which form part of the final phase of formal consultation taking place in July 2019.

“Residents are welcome to attend the meeting to find out more about the parking proposals. Approximately 120 tickets will be made available on a first come, first served basis.

“Council officers will provide feedback from the latest consultations and an overview of proposals for Sutton North, Sutton Central and Sutton West.”

The streets that are included in the July consultation include:

• Aultone Way

• Greenhill

• Hawthorne Close

• Horse Shoe Green

• Kendal Gardens

• Meadow Close

• Roseacre Close

• Oak Close

• Woodend

Other streets outlined in the parking consultation proposals for Sutton Central and Sutton West will be considered for formal consultation in the Autumn.

The committee meeting will be taking place Thursday, June 6, 7pm - Holy Family Church, Sorrento Road, Surrey, SM1 1QU.

Anyone who is unable to make the Local Committee is welcome to attend a public information event for the parking proposals.
