A Sutton Council spokesperson said:

“The Environment and Neighbourhood Committee on Thursday 20 June will be open to the public to attend. The agenda includes general business matters such as waste collections and signage in Sutton. The meeting will discuss the borough-wide parking strategy and N1 van policy.

“Additionally the council will discuss an e-petition on banning barbecues in Beddington Park and proposed car parking charges in the park.

“People are welcome to attend. Approximately 100 tickets will be made available on a first come, first served basis.

“As we want to give as many residents a chance to hear what is being discussed at the meeting on 20 June, an audio recording of the meeting will be available on our website sutton.gov.uk after the meeting.”
