Sutton Scene - Sons and Daughters

Within the fostering community, October is a month of celebration and reflection of the role that foster carers' own children play within the fostering family.

Foster carers' own children play an important part in the lives of the others in care. They often become role models, mentors and supporters of the children who come to be a part of their family.

In Sutton, we support the whole fostering family and this includes the children of our foster carers.

If you would like to learn more about how we support our fostering families then join us 22 October 7.30am to 8.30an for a virtual Q&A session.

This will be hosted by Jo, one of our experienced foster carers and her daughter, Amy.

They will answer your questions about what it is like to foster, the support that is offered and the process to become a Sutton foster carer.
