Living with Covid-19 guidance

Take extra care when visiting family and friends in care homes and health care settings. They are the people who are most vulnerable to Covid-19.

There is no legal limit on the number of visitors. But to keep everyone safe and comfortable, care homes and other health care settings need to manage how many people can visit each day.

Visitors to care homes, hospitals and GP surgeries are required to wear a face covering.

When planning to visit a care home in Sutton, we recommend you

  • call ahead before you travel to check you can visit that day
  • take a face covering with you
  • cooperate with all health and safety measures during your visit
  • do not visit if you feel unwell, have a temperature or any Covid-19 symptoms
