Local elections will take place on Thursday 7 May 2026 to elect new local councillors in the borough.
Apply to transfer to junior school
| Dates | Information |

| 1 September 2025 | Online applications open |
| 15 January 2026 | Closing date for applications. Applications received after this date will be regarded as late. |
| 12 February 2026 | Latest date that an application that is late for good reason can be accepted. Reasons and evidence must be presented with the application by this date. |
| 16 April 2026 | Notification of outcome posted to parents who did not apply online to their home address, by first class post. |
| Evening of 16 April 2026 | Results are available for applications submitted online |
| May to September 2026 | Additional offers are made to vacancies occur. |
| June to July 2026 | Admissions appeals. |
