London Borough of Sutton partners up to bring business boosting workshops to Sutton

The London Borough of Sutton has joined the Institute of Cancer Research, as part of the London Cancer Hub, to partner with BIG South London. Together, they are launching a new scheme of free workshops that will boost business in the borough and beyond.

Moving many services online in order to limit physical contact due to COVID-19 has prompted a huge surge in the creation of new technologies, services, apps and innovations which are transforming healthcare in the UK.

The programme is aimed at life science and health-related businesses or third sector organisations in the South London area who wish to grow or transform their business. It includes a series of workshops, mentoring from business experts and connecting with universities to develop their plans. It will help organisations grow by generating innovative ideas and expanding their networks.

BIG South London is inviting companies to an online Taster Event on 8 February to showcase the programme’s content and benefits. At the event they will hear from businesses who have been through the scheme explain the value and opportunities they have received.
