If you are looking for something to do, or want to get active, you can find out about activities and sports facilities available for park visitors. Our Parks provide free-to-use and paid-for facilities for individual and team activities.

The following activities are free to use:

  • outdoor gyms
  • wheel and ramp parks
  • ball courts
  • tennis courts
  • table tennis tables

Booking is not required for these. You can just turn up and play.

In busy times, we may ask visitors to limit their time to allow others to have a turn. Notices will be displayed during these times.

The following sports are charged for and available for booking

  • football
  • rugby
  • hurling
  • baseball
  • cricket

Bowls Clubs 

There are five bowling greens where members and casual players can enjoy playing. Greens are available from mid-April to the end of September.

The friendly clubs will welcome new players and will be happy to show you how to play. Clubs are based at:

  • Cheam Park (home to a croquet and bowling club, which also offers taster sessions)
  • Cuddington Recreation Ground
  • Rosehill Park West
  • Sutton Common, and
  • The Grove
