The Sutton Parks Festival highlights all the brilliant events run by Sutton Park Friends and others throughout the year.

Monday 8th August - Go Wild for Bees, at Sutton Ecology Centre (SM5 3NY)

  • 10:30am-12pm, 1:30pm-3pm
  • Why are bees such amazing busy creatures? Find out through games, honey tasting and make a bee hotel to take home.
  • Booking essential: suttonbiodiversity.eventbrite.com
  • Suggested suitability: 3yrs+. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Saturday 13 August - Sutton Parks ‘Landscape Artist of the Year’ competition, in Manor Park (SM1 4BF)

  • 11am - 2pm. A free art competition for all ages and abilities, with the results, announced at 3pm. Taking place across Sutton Parks.
  • Meet by the cafe at 10.45am to collect your entry form. Entrants to provide their own chair, equipment and materials.
  • Taking inspiration from the TV series, Sutton Parks are running our own 'Landscape Artist of the Year' competition in 2022. Join us at one of our participating parks and bring out your inner artist. Sutton is spread across the urban fringe of London, up to the lower slopes of the North Downs. Can you capture the stories and scenery that our parks offer? We are looking forward to your artistic interpretations of our green and pleasant parks!
  • Prizes for winners. 3 categories - Under 16's/ Adults/ Professional Artists
